On June 14, 2014 the American Heart Association hosted the annual Wichita Heart Walk which was held at the Wichita State Campus.
Heartland Cardiology employees participated in the fund raising by hosting bake sales and raffles. With the help of local businesses donating items and employees donating their time to baking, we were able to raise over $1500 for the foundation. Several employees also participated in the Heart Walk walking either a half mile or 3 miles. The purpose of the Heart Walk is to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment and to raise funds for life-saving research and education.
