Darine joined Heartland Cardiology in May of 2018 and is the mid-level provider with Dr. Wassim Shaheen. She is most interested in Cardiology because of its vital importance to people’s lives, and the fact that Cardiology can be a life-threatening problem. Darine’s goals for patient care are to identify and monitor opportunities for improvement, as well as manage an effective plan and ways to prevent disease. She feels it is important to build trust with her patients and present herself in a professional and trustworthy manner.

In her spare time, Darine loves to travel. She likes to cook and take care of her garden, enjoys exercise, and loves spending time with her three lovely kids.
